Currently, I am contributing to open source through Google Summer of Code 2025, enhancing real-time UI experiences in medical imaging tools used by thousands. My work blends data, code, and clarity — from uncovering refund patterns through analytics dashboards to building deepfake detectors and financial simulators .

My journey with tech started in school, when I picked up Python and SQL just out of curiosity. At the time, I had no idea what data science was — I just loved the feeling of making things work through logic and experimentation.
That spark has only grown stronger. Over the years, I’ve built deepfake detectors, financial simulators, and data dashboards — blending code, insight, and purpose. One of my favorite projects was a virtual stock trading platform that answered market questions — combining my love for data, design, and finance.
Right now, I’m contributing to Google Summer of Code 2025, working on improving open-source medical imaging tools used globally. I’ve also co-led Google Developer Groups on campus, helping organize events and hackathons that helped hundreds of students get hands-on with tech.
Outside of code, I enjoy reading, photography, and writing — anything that helps me slow down, reflect, and explore the world through a different lens.
I’m still learning, still building — and always excited about what meaningful problem I’ll solve next.
Google Summer of Code 2025 — Contributor
InVesalius (CTI - Renato Archer)
May 2025 – Present
As a Google Summer of Code 2025 contributor with InVesalius, I’ve been improving UI responsiveness in a VTK/wxPython-based medical imaging tool used by researchers and healthcare professionals. I’ve developed cancellable dialogs and live progress bars for long-running operations, refactored UI logic for thread-safe execution, and collaborated with global mentors through modular code contributions, reviews, and testing.
Open Source Contributor May 2024 – Oct 2024
GSSoC, Hacktoberfest, NIU
Contributed to multiple open-source projects by fixing C++ issues, optimizing REST APIs, and improving backend performance. Explored Kalman filtering for real-time applications, evaluated implementation trade-offs, and advised maintainers on design changes. Gained hands-on experience with collaborative workflows using Git, PR reviews, and community discussions.
